Die verstrickte Dienstagsfrage 14/2012

Heute hat das Wollschaf eine zur Jahreszeit passende Frage aus dem Archiv hervorgeholt:

Die Bienchen summen, die Vöglein zwitschern, der Frühling hat Einzug gehalten. Was planst du für den Frühling? Neue Wolle? Neue Strickprojekte? Vielleicht sogar einen Frühjahrs-Woll-Putz?

Wenn es Fruehling wird, dann plane ich fuer den Garten, und nicht fuer’s Stricken – wenn die Sonne scheint, die Bienen summen und die Voegel zwitschern, zieht es mich raus, und ich will saeen und pflanzen. Einen Fruehjahrs-Woll-Putz habe ich auch noch nie durchgefuehrt (auch wenn es Leute gibt, die das regelmaessig tun – siehe bei Yarn Harlot). Ich krieg doch noch nicht mal den normalen Fruehjahrsputz auf die Reihe….

Gestrickt wird, wie immer, worauf ich Lust habe, oder was gerade “anfaellt” – im moment sind Socken, Handschuhe und Muetze fuer das Kind einer Freundin in Arbeit, als naechstes kommt ein Strickjacke fuer meinen Schwiegervater dran (wenn die Wolle dann mal ankommt!).

The bees are buzzing, the birds are singing and spring is coming. What have you planned for spring? New Yarn? New knitting projects? Maybe even a spring-yarn-clean?

When spring arrives, I start planning for the garden, and not for knitting! When the suns shines, the bees buzz and the birds sing, I want to be outside and sow and plant. I’ve never done a spring-yarn-clean (others do it regularly – see Yarn Harlot). I don’t even manage your standard, run-of-the mill spring clean…

As usual, I knit what I feel like, or what is at hand. At the moment, these are socks, mittens and a bonnet for a friend’s child, next is a vest for my father-in-law (once the yarn arrives).
