Die verstrickte Dienstagsfrage 5/2013

Heute braucht das Wollschaf einen Rat:

Mir brennt aus aktuellem Anlass (Sehnenscheidenentzündung) 😦 eine Frage auf den Nägeln. Was macht eine süchtige Strickerin, wenn sie aus irgendwelchen, z.B. gesundheitlichen Gründen nicht stricken darf?

Tja, was macht man da als süchtige Strickerin? Probieren, ob Häkeln geht, oder ob andere Nadeln (anderes Material, andere Stärke, Rundstricknadeln) Erleichterung bringen.
Ansonsten hilft nur, nicht zu stricken, in der Hoffnung, das so die Heilung schneller von statten geht, und man schneller wieder an den Nadeln “hängen” kann. In der Zwischenzeit kann man den Stash und die Anleitungssammlung neu sortieren, und schon mal Pläne schmieden!

Oh well, what could a knitting addict do? See whether crochet works, or whether changing the needles (material, size, circular needles) brings any relief.
If not, then the only thing that will help is to be patient and not to knit, in the hope that the healing process is quicker then, and one can start knitting again soon. In the meantime, one can sort the stash and pattern collection, and think about what to knit next!
