Ich bin mal wieder in Sachen Biodiversitaetsforschung unterwegs, und fuer die Bahnfahrt von Paris nach Frankfurt brauchte ich natuerlich etwas mehr oder weniger transportables. Und da SchwiegerMama bald Geburtstag hat, und mein Ehemann meinte “kannst du nicht ein Tuch stricken”, kamen das Garn und die Anleitung fuer den “Seriously Simple Shawl” eingepackt. Das Garn ist der letzte Strang von Frau Wollfrosch, und die Farben sind wieder ganz toll. Soweit bin ich jetzt (das Foto ist leider ganz schlechte Handy-Qualitaet):

I am travelling again for biodiversity research, and for the train trip from Paris to Frankfurt I needed something more or less portable to take along. And as my mother-in-laws birthday is fairly soon, and my husband said “why don’t you knit a shawl”, I packed yarn and pattern instructions for the Seriously Simple Shawl“. The yarn is the last hand-dyed hank from Frau Wollfrosch, and the colours are again really beautiful. I got this far (I apologise for the bad mobile phone – picture quality):


Und die Libellensocken sind fertig, aber dazu spaeter mehr.

The dragon fly socks are done, but more about them later.
