Die verstrickte Dienstagsfrage 33/2014

Heute wendet sich das Wollschaf an die Sockenstricker:

Ich habe eine Frage an alle SockenstrickerInnen und -trägerInnen:
Was tut Ihr, wenn die Schublade eurer gestrickten Fußwärmer rappelvoll ist, Ihr aber schon neue Socken gefertigt habt und behalten möchtet (weil die ja sooo schön sind)?
Sortiert ihr aus und fällt euch das leicht?
Erweitert ihr die Lagermöglichkeiten oder gibt es für euch noch eine andere Lösung?

So rappelvoll sind meine/unsere Sockenschubladen nun auch wieder nicht – wir sind zu dritt, und ich bin nicht sooo produktiv, dass ich jeden Monat 2-3 neue Paare stricken wuerde. Aussortieren muss ab-und-zu einfach sein, da a) Toechterchen aus den Socken rauswaechst, und es b) natuerlich auch Verschleiss gibt.

I have a question for all sock knitters and sock wearers:
What do you do if the drawer containing all your beautiful socks is more than full, but you have knit yet another pair, and would like to keep it (because they are sooooooo beautiful)?Do you weed out some socks, and is this easy for you?
Do you extend your storage capacity, or do you have other solutions?

My /Our sock drawers are not that full – there are three of us, and I am not sufficiently productive to knit two to three pairs a month. Once in a while, I just have to weed out socks from the drawer – either a) because my daughter outgrows them, and b) the socks obviously wear out.
