Sept 2014

Auch diesen Monat fand also wieder Vorratsabbau statt.

The last day of September was already a few days ago, but nevertheless, the stats for September.

This month, I “only” finished a pair of childrens socks, using a 50g skein with a yardage of 209.4 metres. And I added again one skein to the stash, and three went out, making this another month of stash reduction.

WIPs

1. Cocktail Jumper by Maison la Rililie (using up more Holst Coast in Redcurrant) – a few cms away from completion.

2. Peaceful Easy Feeling by Mary Annarella

3. Braided cable socks

4. Icelandic pullover for my daughter

UFOs

1. Attitude Cardigan (I should really dig this out again, as I want / need a cardigan for home)

On the radar (i.e. waiting to be cast on)

1. Cocktail Jumper by Maison la Rililie (using Holst Garn Supersoft)

2. Redford (my husband deserves another pullover)

3. Elphaba Pullover by Mary Annarella

I am currently in South Korea (in PyeongChang, the host of the 2018 Winter Olympic Games). September was full of travels – Leipzig, Basel, Sevilla – all within 3 weeks. After Seville, I just had enough time to unpack and repack my suitcase before leaving again. I am really glad to have my handknits – it’s really unseasonally cold in PyeongChang, and I am warm and toasty and handknit sweater and cardigan (and of course, socks😉 )

No wonder you haven’t done much knitting… Sounds an interesting trip anyway🙂
