State of the socks on the way to Switzerland

… and once again with a bit of delay, the statistics for October. At the end of the month, we spent a few days in Switzerland, in and around Zurich. This evening, I am one again packing my suitcase, as I’ll be leaving for Brazil.

This month, once again, I only managed to finish a pair of socks for my daughter, the top is still on the needles and has to wait until I come back home. On the flight, I’ll have to finish a pair socks that I promised a friend of mine that I’ll meet in Brazil.

Accordingly, I’ll only used up 57 grammes / 242,3 meters of yarn. Just one skein left the stash, but none was added!

The socks on the way back from Switzerland

  1. Another Split top 😉
  2. Socks for a friend
  3. Evasion. I just had to cast on something that involved a bit more than stockinette.
  4. Fantomas (I finally settled on a pullover for my husband! Knit from Coast and Supersoft, held double)
  5. Stripey blanket, using up some rather old yarn that I inherited

NAPs (needle adjacent projects, ready to be cast on as soon as something else is cast off – thanks to the Stockinette Zombies for this definition)

  1. More socks for my daughter
  2. Wee bluebells by Kate Davies

On the radar (high up in my queue)

  1. Simone by Louisa Harding (but knit in the round)
  2. It needs two to dance by Regina Moessmer
  3. Another Deco cardigan by Kate Davies

A few impressions from Zurich and the surroundings, where we spent our autumn holidays.
